Default Vinci High Performance Handheld Tuner

I've got a Vinci High Performance handheld tuner for sale. It's worked very well for me, and seems to be the best handheld I've come across. I'll add some pictures soon. There is a scratch in the plastic over the screen which doesn't detract from its performance or visibility.

I'll to $260 shipped to anywhere in the lower 48 states.

I used it on my '02 Firebird. It will work on models from '99 on. I also know it will work on '04 GTOs as well.

i thought the vinci's worked on 98's as well, or did they need to be ordered specifically for that year?

Specificly for that year. AFAIK there are no handhelds that work for the 98 and 99+. It's either one or the others. Vinci and superchips are the only ones I know of that even make a handheld tuner.

they do. the tuners are broken down in different categories.

#1 97-98 corvette and f-body
#2 99-04 corvette, 99-02 f-body, and 04 GTO

on trucks, i'm not sure of the breakdown.

Is this tuner locked to your VIN? Just currious I know some hand held tuners have issues when it comes time to sell them.

This tuner doesn't do that. It stays locked to a VIN as long as the car is using a tune, but if you reload the stock tune, then the tuner is free to be used on another car. Right now, my PCM is back to stock, and the tuner is free to be used on another car. This is one feature I really like about this tuner, it's very flexible.

Here is a link to the VHP website where they describe the tuner: http://www.vincihighperformance.com/...FO%20PAGE.HTML

It is the same as the Crane Cams tuner. You can read about that here: http://www.cranecams.com/?show=brows...08&showAll=yes

I must apologize that I don't know what a Cags delete is. It does allow modification of automatic transmission shift points and firmness, fueling, ignition, tire size, gear ratio..... It's a nice little tuner and very easy to use. It will also read trouble codes, and reset them.
