Thumbs up Well the 412 LS2 is in and roaring!

Here are some of the details:

- LS2 block at 4.0005 bore
- Eagle 4.100 crank
- Wiseco pistons, coated
- Comp Star rods
- all ARP hardware
- ALLPRO head 2.08 1.60, 340@.625 on 4.0 bore
- Cam 242 / 250 .610 lift
- Pro Maganum 1.75 rockers
- Isky lifters
- Kooks 1 7/8 headers, ORY, with Maganaflow cat back
- Steel drive shaft 1350 yokes
- Moser 12 bolt, 3.73, Eaton HD 33 spline / spinning ZR1 17 x 11.0 c/w 315's
- McLoed Street Twin, steel flywheel

Well at the end of the day it layed down 519.22 rwhp thru the open Y pipe, cutouts not installed till tomorrow. I'm very happy.

Heres some pics and the graphs, the 511 is thru full cat back.

My old H/c compared to the new motor thru full exhaust.

I think it is a rather unique set up, that is making great street number, it idles pretty good. A few wish we went bigger on the cam but it feels great to me.

I thought a few of you may find this an interesting set up. I love it!

I'm sure it will be alot of fun. It is a little bit of a shame to run that small of a cam with heads flowing that good. Good luck.

So far so good. They are very strong, my only concern is weight but they are supposed to be litgher at the tip than many aluminum ones, since they are forged alloy. Jessel are still the best but I was watching my budget, hence the Eagle crank and not Callies.

I only have about 4-500 miles on it so far, still breaking in the clutch

Those LS2's are looking real good. I might have to go that route for weight reduction..

No that is one of the guys from AutoWorx doing the install. It had to be 105+ in the shop, the smile is likely delussional. I took the pic and was smiling big time.

I have always liked the comp pro magnums. I like their size, form factor
and the fact they are tooled from steel rather than alum. We know alum expand more
under heat than steel.

The heads look like some serious pieces. I'm still wondering if 340 CFM of flow matters when it is coupled with a LS6 or LSX intake and becomes 270 or 290CFM of peak flow. The day when you take a 360 CFM head and put the intake mani on and get 350CFM or 365CFM of flow, Ill be really happy for these strokers...

My personal opinion is the numbers are great but I think theres more in it, to the
tune of over 550RWHP and over 510RWTQ without changing camshaft.

Keep in mind I have the stock water pump, stock pullies and of coarse the 12 bolt and steel drive shaft. Today it pulled 511.34 thru the cats and smells very clean when warmed up. The strange part is it went to 12.34 AF and we leaned it back out to 13.0 and it lost 2 hp.

Heres todays graph.

Tomorrow I hope to get to the track and get a few good runs in. It is a full weight car set up for autocross, but should still be quick. That is if I can drive

I,m not sure what CP is, in Canada I was ESP and will likely be moved up to Modified. I doubt the extra hp will help, if not hinder but it will be fun.

I really do not care if I win, the extra thrill of the power is awesome. I think that the best set up here is a stock car on "R" compounds, it has the most favorable paxxing.

CP is what happens to any f-body in Ohio that runs subframes connectors.

The HP is almost too much for autox but it is fun to sling it around. I don't care if i win either, it's more fun running that kinda power.
