Does the tuner need reflashing or anything like that?

No reflashing necessary. I set my car back to stock today which essentially puts the programmer back to an unused state.

The HPP3 will work on 99-02 LS1's according to Hypertech's website:
http://www.hypertech.com/gmfeaturechart.html

Thanks!

I double checked my part # which is (390753) so apparently it will only work on 2000 LS1's.

Apparently they must have a newer model which is what was listed on the link I posted previously.

So just disregard the previous post.

PN.390753 shows for the 2000 V6 models and PN.30025 is the 2000 V8 models. According to the Hypertech page.

Not sure where you saw that here is a scan I just took of the back of the HPP3. You can see for yourself that is says '00 350 LS1' not to mention I just had it on my 2k SS.

I just called Hypertech as they open at 8am and they confirmed via the Serial #, Part # and Revision # that it is a 2k Camaro/Firebird LS1 ONLY!

Here is the image...just zoom in on it and you can see the sticker fine.

If the image insert doesn't work feel free to give me your email address and I will send the pic.

Otherwise you can call Hypertech at
(901)382-8888
Serial : 802832
Part : 390753
Rev : 081400

And you can verifiy it with them if that makes you feel more comfortable.

Thanks!

I called Hypertech and they said that the 390753 is not for V6 models, it's the older model HPIII and it is solely for the 2000, like you said. The 30025 is a newer model HPIII also for the 2000 LS1 and others years. Sorry for my confusion.
