With a Strange nodular case and some really nice Strange components, I'll build you a "quiet" center section for $2275.00, but I need your zip to find out what freight would be.

Definately go with Scott, I have put almost 2000 miles on this thing and it is DEAD quiet. He was extremely helpful with all of my questions and has built quite a few of these, every problem I came up with he had an answer to. I also have experience with a Moser center section if you want to hear about them go ahead and send me a PM. Plus Scott has the best price on a 9" that I have seen.

I also give my vote to Scott@ driveline-solutions. Great customer service and as stated above, rear end is as quiet as stock, if not quieter. Up front vendor and all around good guy, cant go wrong!

yep, mark another tally up for scott! he did my 9 inch with the tru trac and 3.89 gears, 31 spline. it's a nice rear end! i just drove to cleveland for my friends race, and the cleveland GP this weekend (about a 3 hour drive of all highway) didn't make anymore noise then my 10 bolt really, i get a bit of roadnoise still but it's from my BMR torque arm aka the Stethescope!

definatly give scott a PM!

I recommend Scott too, he did my 9" with detroit locker. It's not very quiet as most people have said in this thread though..not to take anything away from Scott, and I don't mind the noise whatsoever.

He's very good at recommending a setup and getting what you need.

Yet another tally for Scott. I bought a 9" from him before he was a sponsor. My setup w/ 4.30s and a spool is pretty much as quiet as any rear with 4.30s can be and became quieter after a few hard launches.

Whatever you do don't buy a moser! Had three housings all of them ate up center sections. One of them the axle tube broke away from the rest of the housing. Thank GOD the pan hard rod held it in.

$2,400 is my price shipped for the Moser 9 inch with Truetrac and the nodular case, 31 spline axles, with no ABS/No TCS. The Truetrac is only offered with 28 or 31 spline axles. Bob
