so yea...

title kinda says it all. what really irritates me is that my carpet is trashed and i cant get it all out because the back seats are in the way. so anyone who can give me any advice would be very appreciated.

Pull back of seat bottom up while pushing front of seat bottom towards trunk. They're held in with hooks on the floor. Once you've removed the seat bottom, you see the bolts for the upper seat at the bottom of them . Remove 4 bolts (I believe) then push seat up .
