Default Fs: Bare Ls6 Heads

I have a set of 243 casting heads, I am looking for 400 plus shipping on them. They are just the bare heads and they are brand new, still in the box.

I wouldn't transfer your valves from the old heads to the new ones without a basic valve job.

Interested.

What's the shipping to 78729, or are you willing to possibly meet up somewhere between Austin and Giddings? (Since I'm in Austin...)

You wouldn't have to get a valvejob, but rather have your current VALVES refreshed by getting them ground at a head shop. It'll take the machinist 15 minutes to do all of your valves. He'll also let you know if you have any valves that are slightly bent and need to be replaced at the same times he's grinding on them.

A new valve job isn't necessary. Also, a "basic" cheap valvejob might actually hurt performance over the factory ~four angle valve job. If you price a good quality valvejob that's technologically advanced, you'll more than likely leave the VJ alone. After all, it's a fresh head and they're proven as-cast with the factory valve job.
