I'm gonna say race headers and ORY. I'm not sure about LT1's but I don't think they have the rasp issue's that we do, so I'm sure an ORY would be a likely candidate.

BTW, this thread would probably be better suited in the LT1/LT4 section. Not as many LT1 guys are going to see it here.

No emissions with an x-pipe and your choice of mufflers. If you made a stainless true dual setup you would sell quite a bit of them.

I will take race style, but would also like the emissions fittings if optional + ORY

If they're as nice (and fit as nice) as the LS1 version, I'll drop my pacesetters for these. I'd like a race/ory version.

I joined this forum only because the idea of LT's for my LT1 is burning a hole in my brain.

I don't want to wait, but I will definitely wait for these to come.

You make a stepped 1 7/8 or 1 3/4 stepped to a 1 7/8 race w/ ORY or w/ CATS and I'll dump my FLP's yesterday.

Ok for the last time they are NOT MADE IN CHINA. Some people believe because of the price they have to be made in China. They are a small company in the US and just doesn't do a huge markup like the other company's do. This should show you just how much other company's mark up there products because of what there for not because of what it cost to make them.

Just look at stainless headers for a corvette. They cost $400 more than F-body stainless headers. Why. Because of what there for not because it takes more material to make them. We also sell stainless headers and X pipes for corvettes and they are the same price as the f-body one's. We are just trying to offer a great product to customers without the huge markups that other company's do.

Well said. And if you guys want even more proof that T-304 stainless headers aren't as "exotic" as they may appear as evidenced by the prices that manufacturers of LT1 headers are charging, do a quick E-bay search for Mustang stainless headers. In some cases they're paying less for their polished stainless longtube headers than we are for our coated mild steel shorty headers.

I applaud black2002ws6 for stepping up and offering us another stainless header alternative at a fair market price. Economics 101: The more competition we get in the LT1 aftermarket, the more of an imperative there is to make higher quality parts at reasonable prices. In the end, everybody wins.

I'm going to jump on the same ship with SRZ and dump my FLP setup for same reason.

I would dump my Hooker LT's for a stainless header if it were stepped or had 1 7/8" primaries. I prefer the 3 bolt collector over the slip fit however.
