front or rear hubs? how easy are they to swap? any special tools required, or do you have to pull the axle? Are those the 3.25" studs?

Front hubs, just bolt them on. 3.25"

is it easier to change the hubs or swap the studs?

i have drag and street wheels, but when i'm on the street, i'm gonna use stock studs. So i want to save time when swapping things out.
