LS1 cam huh? Trying to get the car together in a hurry huh?

1+1=?

I'm sure you could run to Straightline or Speed Inc for one if need be.

I have one, but won't give out the specs until I have cash in hand. Let's just say it is bigger than the TREX, makes more power, and will still fit with stock heads. Let me know if you're interested. It's brand new, never opened.

Sorry if I seem dense, but who would want to buy a cam that they don't know the specs of?

you're going bigger than 242 duration? how would that work in a stock head application?

I bought that cam with intentions of doing cam only on my car. I am now building a ls2 based 416 block with afr heads. and that 242 cam is a lil too tame for what i want. I wanna use something around low 240s on the intake and 250 duration on the exhaust on a 110 lsa. I don't see why the lunati cam i have would not work with stock head applications. I was told it would work great with a set of ported stock heads

There is a difference between a cam that has secret specs and injectors that someone won't say what size they are. That's comparing apples and oranges. For YEARS the specs on the G5X3 and G5X4 were kept secret, yet hundreds of people bought them, because they worked, and we held the cam only & stock bottom end records with Jugger's car for quite some time.

Too many newbs on this site that are scared of trying new things, and they would rather get mommy and daddy's credit card and copy off of someone else. Why would I give out the specs just so someone like that can have that info and be a follower, instead of a leader?

.

Every cam I've had for 10+ years were made custom per my specs. They were not state secrets,
but you can see his point about not sharing research. You don't walk around the pit's asking people
for their combination, cam card, tune up, ect. Some people will test 4-5 cams, before finding their sweet spot.
Just a thought.
