Default Heads, Cam, Intake, etc for sale!!!

I'll list them out. These came off or are coming off my 1999 LS1 Trans Am

1) MTI Clear Air Lid--$80 shipped(missing one of the 4 tabs)

2) Stock Fans--$100

3) Stock Radiator--$100

4) Stock Fuel Rail--$40--->SOLD

5) Nasty Nate Fuel Rails--$130
New/Never used
http://www.nastyperformance.com/FuelSystem.html

6) Edelbrock "Stepped" Headers/mufflers package--$400--SOLD
---These are 1 3/4 stepped to 1 7/8 with 3.5" collectors. They also come with 3.5" Moroso Spiral flow mufflers and Flowmaster Turn Downs. They are all clamped together with band clamps

7) Hooker Aerochamber 3.5 in/out mufflers--$100
---These are center in/out with less than 5 miles on them, ahahahaha.

8) Fast 90mm intake/PTM 90mm Throttle Body--$850--Sold
--Not ported/painted or molested in any way.

9) PTC 10.5" 3500 stall--$300--SOLD
This is a TH350/400 stall. This was in the car when i had a trans failure. You can take it as is for $300, or i will split the cost to have it shipped back to PTC and refreshed(probably around $100). At that time, you can have it re-stalled to whatever you like. It stalled to about 3200 behind my stock c.i. motor N/a and about 4500 on nitrous

10) GMPP/LS6/"243"/Lingenfelter heads--$1000--SOLD
---These were CNC'd by Lingenfelter as a contract deal with GMPP. They retain the stock sodium filled LS6 valves to save weight but i have upgraded the springs to Manley Duals(good to .650 lift) and installed titanium retainers. They are 60.5 cc. Per SDPC website:
11) SVO 30# red-top injectors--$200--sold
These flow at approximately 36#s in the LS1 fuel pressure. At 460rwhp, they were 88% Duty Cycle at WOT.

12) "Quarter-stick" Shifter--$130
Comes with shifter cover and ball type ****. It is a forward manual VB shifter

13) Harris Speed Works "Black Mamba" wet nozzle--$50
New/Never used. Good to 350rwhp shot

14) Thunder Racing "Trex" Cam--$300Sold
This cam made 460rwhp through my 9" with a locker and Steel Driveshaft. This was with the heads and intake. Per Thunder Racing's website:
"T-ReX v.2 - 242/248 - .608/.612 - 110 lsa 3500-6700 RPM Power Band. Violent mid-range & high RPM power. Requires computer tuning, 4000+ converter on autos, 4.30's or greater depending on transmission. Works very well with nitrous and proper tuning. Due to the fast ramp rate of this camshaft, the use of 1.8 rockers is not recommended. Due to the extreme nature of this camshaft, piston to valve clearance must be verified when using modified cylinder heads."

Mine was actually a little larger than the advertised size. I have the original cam card as well.

I think that's it. Money talks, so everything is OBO. I can also take parts on trade. Things i need:

-Electronic Boost Controller
-T6 frame turbo blanket
-96lb injectors
-??????

Nope, I'm going to a turbo build, these are my na/nitrous stuff left over.

You are welcome to buy the clear lid, and headers so you can mark them off your list though!

Approximately 5k miles on the heads. They are used.
Car is a drag/car show only car, so low miles on all my toys, haha.

curious.

These heads will flow over 200cfm at 0.300" lift and 290+ at 0.500
upgraded the springs to Manley Duals(good to .650 lift
what do they flow at .600 or .650?

Will the heads work with a stock shortblock and a decent size cam( 233/239, .595"/.603" )?

Please PM me, b/c I tend to forget where I write, and I am VERY interested

PTV clearance may be an issue, it'll be close though - should fit
of coarse it is always recommended to check PTV manually when doing the install

Exactly what he said.

I had -4cc valve reliefs, so it was a non-issue for me. It's hard to say what will/won't fit, but i do know that having the smaller stoick valves is a big benefit as far as the PTV clearance. Worst case scenario you can 1) flycut your stock pistons(what i'd do if you HAD to) or 2) put a thicker cometic gasket on to take some of the cc out of the head. Like i said, I was running a big-*** Trex with no problems, but, I had the valve reliefs. I feel pretty confident as well that it would fit, but there's really only one way to find out. If it does fit, you will have some killer compression, should pick up a little extra power there.

Sure,

off the top of my head, they flowed 313 or 310 at .600, and 300 at .650.

These heads flowed ridiculously well at low to mid range, but at the expense of the big flow numbers at .650+. That's ok with me, even with my Trex, I wasn't going to see over .630.

fly cutting is a great option
that way you can still run a thin gasket to keep the compression up and still have a good quench - especially if you ever plan on spraying its important

and fly cutting is not the big deal people make it out to be
