for 3 series carrier. I just changed to 3.73 to see if I could get the rear dead quiet so I took these out. They had a little whine but not bad. It was just enough it bothered my wife. All that work to install the 3.73 and it still makes a little noise. Anyway thought I would sell these 4.10s since I'm not going to do the work again to put them back in. $100 shipped. I'll get some pics up here in a little bit

About a 1000 if that. I had them in just this last summer. The car isn't a daily driver.

 

What kind of whine are we talking about?

 

Well I couldn't hear it driving around town or even on the highway if the windows are down but with radio off and windows up I could hear it. I mean it wasn't loud but I could hear it on decell. It was fine with me because the tires on my truck are alot louder so I thought it was minor. My wife didn't like it because she wants it to be silent like her malibu.

 

These will fit 10 bolt?

Gears are sold but they were GM gears because it said GM on them. Thanks for all the interest..
