FS in VA: complete Moser 9 inch rear end
SOLD
I just bought a Camaro with a Moser 9 inch rear end. For what I'm doing with the car, I just don't need it. The rear end won't be available until I locate a 10 bolt to put in. But, I figured I'd put it up here in case someone is looking. I might be able to go ahead and pull it out before finding another rear end, but I make no guarantees. Another option is that I could swap it for someone's 10 bolt (4 channel abs): you show up with your car, and I can pull out your rear and put the Moser in...so if you want to buy the Moser I could just swap my labor for your 10 bolt.
Here are the details:
Moser 9 inch rear
-31 spline axles
-true trac diff
-4.11 gears
-aluminum carrier case
-fill and drain plug option
-lightening holes option
-housing powder coated black
-4 channel ABS setup
-stock brake backing plates (for LS1 f-body)
-includes UMI LCA relocation brackets
-includes Spohn sway bar drop brackets
-stock width bolt in (assuming 4 channel ABS and correct 1350 U-joint on driveshaft)
This setup costs well over $3k new. I have the purchase receipt from 2007. The previous owner of the car had this installed and did not drive it much. I have no idea how much it's worth so I'll just say $2k OBO. I might also let the Moser aluminum driveshaft go with this, which of course already has the correct U-joint installed. Located in Verona, VA.
Pictures of it in the car when I get a chance to get it on a lift.
