Default Midwest 3400 Converter

I have a Midwest 3400 converter for sale that we pulled from my 2000 SS. Nothing wrong with the converter. Just put a higher stall in. $250 plus shipping.

Not sure on the mileage. It was on the car when I bought it. I will check on the other questions tonight. I'll get a part number and check with Midwest.

So, there are no numbers on the converter, other than some hand written numbers. I just heard from the guy I bought the car from, and he got it from another member on this board, who had the converter on for one summer, before going with something bigger. They believe it is a LP-2030. Here is the Midwest website: http://raceconverters.com/categories...e_products.asp

It is actually a really cool converter. I've had several different converters in various cars, ranging from 2800 to 4000. This one was definitely the most streetable of all. It felt really nice around town. I ended up wanting something looser, since I have a MS4 in the motor, and don't really drive the car around town all that often.

It says it's for a 700R4 on that web page? Are converters interchangeable between the 4L60 and 700R4 or something?

Nevermind, did some Googling and it looks like they are in most cases. I'll assume you have it on a 4L60 in yours?
