It's the so-called baby cam. I know some guy run it without anyother mod. I never dyno this cam but decent low-mid range power. It's a very streetable cam and not too choppy or loud.

Yes, you'll need now valve spring for this. However, any single valve spring with .600 lift will work ie, Comp Cam 918 spring.

Why did you get a 224/224 112LSA cam if you had this one? Also, is the new one you bought a TR?

I never dyno this. My guess will be around 370rwhp with LS6 intake and ported TB, don't quote me tho.

You'll need .600 lift valve spring that's for sure, Comp Cam 918 will work. Lifters and pushrod is a piece of mind, since you tear down everything might as well replace them if you've higher mileage. Also you'll need a cam install kit which included all the necessary seal, gasket and bolt. That's about it.

Here you go at Texas Speed:

http://www.Texas-Speed.com/shop/item...id=85&catid=36

You can also order your valve spring over there. Your best bet is call Texas Speed and ask them what's your basic need to install this cam. I think you might need a LS6 oil pump as well.

The yellow spring will not work. They only lift at .550 while this cam lift at .581. At high rpm WOT, the valve will float. At least you need Comp Cam 918 or any valve spring lift with .600 so the valve will open and close on time.

This cam will pass CA smog sniffer test no problem. I can almost guarantee you that cuz my friend run 224/228 and pass smog no problem. He run both cat of course. No way any car will pass sniffer test without cat.
