I have two sets of wheels to get rid of.

The first set are the factory painted (not chrome) Z28 wheels. These are in GREAT shape and have no tires mounted.

The second set is a set of 17" C5 Corvette wheels. These wheels are 17x8 or 17x8.5, I don't remember. They have a machined face with black powdercoat finish on the barrels. They are in less than perfect shape, but could easily be restored. Just some scratching here and there, though a couple of wheels have curb rash as a result of the idiot who installed the tires the day the wheels were brand new--he took a test drive and brought it back that way These wheels have Nexxen tires mounted up that are almost brand new. I think they have less than 1700mi on them.

This is a very fair price for these wheels/tires-- to buy these tires and have them mounted/balanced would cost you $475-$500, maybe more. So it's basically paying for the tires and getting the wheels for $100. As of right now, I am not willing to separate the tires from the wheels. All parts are located in the Charleston, WV area. I prefer local pickup, but will ship at your expense. Don't be shy about making offers, but be reasonable. Either set would make a great set of wheels for the winter time or the track.

can you find out what size (width) the corvette wheels are? i'm only interested if it'll fit bigger than a 255 tire.

 

Just checked and the wheels are 17x8.5 . Also, for anyone reasonably close, I could possibly meet somewhere. For those asking for shipping quotes, I'll have that for you monday. I'm thinking it's going to cost in the neighborhood of $60-$80 though. One quote I got from the fedex website so far was for $67 or so, based on estimated box sizes and weights. I'll let you know for sure tomorrow.

EDIT: Sorry guys. I forgot, that quote was for the stock Z28 wheels w/ no tires. I'll get a quote on monday.

For those interested, I got a quote today for someone in Oklahoma on shipping the Z28 wheels. Shipping from here to there is $90 including packing materials and packed by professionals. That's probably a pretty good # to work off of. Some may be a little more, some a little less.
