I have a forged 347ci ls6 motor i just took out of my car with a lot of parts for sale off of it. I tore it out to put in an lsx block and more cubes.
When i tore it down it was obvious that something had got inbetween the piston and the head at one time and slightly damaged 3 pistons at one time as well as put some marks in the bottom of the head(this damage is 85% cosmetic imo)

Looks like a ring land failure and that chunk bounced around. Good deal on the heads though.
