Yeah... that is pretty weak. I saw this post a few minutes after it hit the forum but then realized that for $25 more, I could get brand new ones from Sam along with all of his advise. Good job undercutting those ahead of you though.

fastmatt98: The springs were posted on 4 different message boards and I replied to all PM's in order of how I received them. Anyone who would have asked me for PayPal info would have surely been gotten it. Only one person did. There absolutely was not a "list" here or on any message board, or via PM. The only person that asked me for my payment info was "Eskimo", when he originally replied in this thread. He sent payment within 20 minutes or so of me forwarding my info, which was right about the time you replied back, and which was also when you asked for payment info for the first time. I apologized then, and I'll apologize now, but basically the first person to pay, was the person who would be buying them. That was Eskimo. With 20 different people PMing me asking for pics, and asking general questions like "Do you still have them?" and not saying much else, I sold to the first person who followed through, since I do not accept "dibs" or anything like that. I have excellent feedback here, on Ebay, and from the Mustang days, on Corral.net. I didn't earn that by screwing anyone around.

That's correct, for just $25 more you could buy some that had 218 miles less than mine do. However, what you may not have realized is that right NOW, you can't buy them from Sam for any price, since he doesn't have any to sell. Not to mention that Sam is a nice enough person to help anyone who uses his products, regardless of whether he was the original seller. Heck, Sam tries to help everyone, even if they don't run his parts...Regardless, I wasn't about to give anyone the deal of a lifetime on highly sought after parts that were bought January 13th, and installed February 9th, and barely driven on. With well over 20 PM's, emails and replies to threads, obviously my price wasn't out of line.

Thanks, Bob

I don't see any "list" here... nor would I expect Eskimo to be keeping one.
Bottom line -- if you want the parts, part with the cash.

I did want the part and had the cash just a lil break down in communication between the seller and me. All good he's a good guy and good seller.

I believe that everything's been taken care of, via PM's.
It appears there was some confusion and a communication gap on my end.

I understand your frustration - I can't tell you how many times I've been that guy awaiting info, and lost out on the sale, and I've also been in the seller's shoes. I would never knowingly scoop something out from underneath someone else if there was an agreed upon commitment already in place, either.

But sales like this are up to the seller. Some like to get a list going - 1st one who states they want it gets X days to pay, then on to number 2, etc. Some sellers take a "first come first served" stance. That's their prerogative, and they are well within their rights to sell items as they see fit. Rel3rd decided to go with the latter.

Sometimes hot items come down to a matter of minutes. I knew Sam's springs are in demand (Hell, I actually bought a set of BMR springs that are installed but never driven on because of the wait time on Sam's), so I figured I should cut to the chase. Had he posted his paypal info in the thread, he would have likely gotten payment this time yesterday. I didn't want to wait, because autocross season is starting up soon, and I'd like to have these on in time for the first event.

nytmare - Thanks for your service to our country! Had you read all the posts from the seller, you would have seen there was no "list" - What's your beef with me? Or if fastmatt is a buddy of yours. I suppose you were just sticking up for him, as he felt wronged at that point?

Hey Rich everythings worked out with me and Bob. Far as a list there was one in the reg for sale section. I was the second in the line to send him a pm saying I wanted the springs the night before you even saw the post. I sent him a pm that night. You posted the next day and got them. He overlooked my PM and didn't send the info to me 1st. No biggie Bob had it posted on alot of boards. He and I talked and it's all fine. Let just say you won the lottery lol cause your right those are a hot item, congrats. Far as knowing nytmanre, I haven't a clue who he is, he was just expressing his opinion I guess. Later people.
