To help you out, this motor would have came in a '99 or '00 Silverardo/Sierra HD. An LS1, LS2, LQ9, 5.3L, or LQ4 ('01+) crank is needed in order to use a 4L60E or T56 transmission. The only trans able to bolt up to the motor the way it sits is a 4L80E or an older auto such as a 700R4. This is a good price for this motor even if you are wanting a T56 or 4L60E, if you don't mind tearing the block down to put a crank in it. That would be a good idea anyways especially if you're wanting to put a cam in it along with new bearings and such.
Bump for you. I'm currently building a 6.0 from a 2000 Silverado, and am one step away from removing the crank and putting an LS2 crank in it with a new cam and bearings.

I paid $950 for mine, came complete from the tb/intake to oil pan, with the computer and wiring harness, and had all the accesories on it except for the alternator. $500 is a really good deal.
I was talking to a few circle track guys about building one of these. The class they run in requires them to use iron blocks and iron heads. Would be a nice upgrade for circle track cars with this restriction as compared to iron headed small blocks.
