Default LT1 hooker longtubes $200 shipped

LT1 hooker supercomp longtubes (offroad - no AIR or EGR). Have been in my car for over five years with no problems. I am not going to sit here and lie and tell you there is no rust, any used mild steel header will eventually rust. However, there are no holes or cracks in the headers, just a couple dings on the bottom, which do not affect performance whatsoever. Collectors do not have flanges on them so it would be best to get new collectors (if you have a bolt-in exhaust) they are like $15 each. The headers are wrapped in header wrap and have a few coats of black 2,000* VHT and I will give it a couple more coats before selling to prevent any more rust (and if you take them through appropriate heat cycles, it will not burn off). SOLD

PICS:

That is black paint. But alas, there is some rust but overall they are in working condition. The headers are a few years old, so don't let anyone with used mild steel headers tell you theirs have no rust lol. Not sure why the bung is there, that's where it was when I got them and I haven't had a problem whatsoever.

Honestly, the original post has a dead on description. There is no way to know if they are close to rusting through. For all I know they can rust through in 1, 2 or even 5 years. Too many variables tie into that formula.. Where you live.. the weather, how often you drive, etc. If you have specific questions please PM me. It's far more convenient
