I picked these up from a fellow member and I'm considering a slightly different route. I have too much going on to jack with these right now. They are ready to bolt on for the additional HP over the stock LS1 heads or you can have them ported for a little more HP. I have a good hook up on port work/milling if needed. These are the actual ZO6 heads with the sodium filled valves. They already have low mileaged (appx 8000) Comp 921 springs installed on them.

I'll sell them for $500.00. Please don't bother with lower offers. If they don't sell, I will just keep them until I'm ready to start my new project. I've seen several people post looking for these, so I thought I'd make them available for someone that needs them now.

How much will these gain me over stock ls1 (99) heads. I think they are the 853 casting.

supposedly with a stock LS6 head you should pick up about 25hp, and you are correct, the stock 99 head is an 853 casting

 

off subject but I bought a set of 243 heads what are the best springs to get?

 

Whichever springs that fit your needs are the best.
Search on springs dude you'll learn a lot.
