Ok ive got a 5.3 engine off of a 02 avalanche with about 70,xxx miles! Did a hydro carbon test and found blown head gaskets. Would make a great project motor or rebuild. Im asking $275. Pick up only. Comes with all from the oil pan to the intake. Also comes with the exhaust manifolds. I dont have the pcm and i have the harness but there are a few wires missing. Im sure it would work with a little bit of wiring work and a few connectors since most of it is there. I wanted more for it but everybody told me i wanted too much for it so i dropped the price and really need to get rid of it. Have no use for it anymore. I was going to use it as a third gen swap but cant afford to do it now so ill wait to get a 6.0 in the future! Thanks!

Yes sir thats what they guy said that i bought it off of. Seemed like a good deal to me so i bought it off em. I was going to build it up so to me it didnt matter since i was going to tear the thing apart! I was going to make it carb'd so i didnt need the intake or wiring.

 

i have a 3rd gen that i am working on. let me talk to the old lady and see what i can come up with. only thing is i am in houston, but would make a road trip if the loan officer apporves the loan. lol ill let you know soon.

 

you wouldn't need a 700r4 from a 2.8l would you? have one sitting int he garage in the way i need to get rid of

Well everybody was complaining about the price in a thread i made a few weeks back! So had no choice but to drop it so it would go! I know everything on that motor is worth more but im kinda tired of having it around!
