Beware of Orangeappeal02 I hate to post this as I do not like to air out dirty laundry but I recently bought a T56 core from Chris Johnson (Orangeappeal02) on here. He said the unit was disassembled from a local shop but was complete. It included the bellhousing and short throw shifter. I asked him twice if he was sure that it was complete before I bought it from him. Both times, he assured me it was. I asked him if he could prepare the package for me so that I could have BAX freight company pick it up for me. He agreed to strap the box full of parts to a pallet and properly secure it for me. I sent him a USPS money order and sent it priorty mail. Once he received the money order, I dispatched BAX to his friends business to have the package picked up. Once the unit or about half of it showed up, I was pissed. This is what I received in this exact condition. The only other thing I received was a tail housing.
It was missing the mid plate, input shaft, bellhousing, 1-2 shift fork, reverse gear, reverse gear slider assembly and reverse gear fork. The parts that did show up were beat up naturally because they rode from Georgia to Texas in a half azz box with no padding or any protection.
I contacted BAX and they said that is how it was picked up. I decided to varify the story by contacting Terry Faulkner (Chris's friend where the parts were picked up). I did not tell him how it showed up but asked how it was shipped. He told me it was poorly packaged and you could see all the parts inside the box. I told him this was exactly how it showed up and thanked him for his time and honesty.
I have given Chris several opportunities to resolve this privately through PM's but he keeps insisting it was not his fault and wants to blame BAX for the parts getting lost if infact they were ever shipped. The box the parts arrived in would have been too small to include a bellhousing and mid plate along with the main case and tailhousing I received.
If Chris steps up and resolves this, I will gladly remove this post and clear his name. Until then, do yourself a favor and avoid this guy at all cost.

Nothing has been resolved so far other than a few pm's saying he's gathering parts to send me. I have seen nothing and now have not heard from him in a coupld of weeks now.
The bad thing, I went to use the cluster gear a couple of days ago in a job and the lugs on the rear of it are sheared off so its worthless. According to the seller, it only had a 3rd gear issue.........

as for the transmission I told him I was trying to round up the parts as which I have found a front plate and bellhousing which I am going to send him monday afternoon. Then I have agreed to send him money for the difference which I will do also. I am trying my best to make this correct! I am just short on money but I will resolve this as for the cluster gear being all banged up I did not know that was messed up I was told that the third gear was messed up on this tranny and that by the time I paid for labor and replaced the parts it would be cheaper to buy a used tranny so I did just that. I am very sorry that the parts were missing I swear that everythig was there when I shipped it! I should have done a better job prepairing it for the shipping company to pick it up and at least all the parts would be there. I will resolve this as quickly as possiable. I am verry sorry for selling you a trans that was messed up worse than stated I had no idea it was that badly messed up.

Its now Sept 8th and still nothing. I was contacted by the little **** head and he said he hadn't had the time to ship the parts. He also said he felt that he owed nothing over and above the parts because of what he thought they were worth according to Ebay. I told him keep the damn parts and just give me back the $300. If they were worth so much, he should have no problem selling them on Ebay.

Wow man, sorry to hear this. This is why I always try to deal with people that have quite a few posts, membership time and quite a few positive transactions. If I see one negative transaction, I don't deal with them. And never deal with anyone with 0 transactions.

man thats messed up i hope everything works out for you, im like the above poster you got to have numerous posts and a good seller/buyer feedback anything negative i just dont deal with no matter what the situation gl tho getting everything str8 with this guy
This kid is not going to send me back any cash or the parts. He's just a punk *** lying little **** head. I'll keep up dating this thread every week or two until its resolved or I get tired of waiting. I would hope the admins are watching this thread and will cross his IP to other member names and ban all of them from this site completely.
I got ripped off by a punk *** named Matt Jones from Columbus, Georgia. He had multiple names on here, and stole from me after being banned a first time. I guess people can always find a way back in here. Do what I did, go to his house and knock on his door!!! No keyboard to hide behind that way.
