LS1 long block $600 gm takeout bought from dealership
I have a 99? I think long block I can get numbers off of it tomarrow when I go out to my shop, I bought the motor from a friend that works at the local chevy delership it was all crated up when I got it and the customer was complaining of a noise at cold start and oil consumption and they gave him a new long block, well it was just out of warrenty so he payed lol but I had big dreams when I got this but I don't have the cash or anything that it will fit into very easy so here it is for sale any questions ask, its in southern missouri right now and I would prefer not to even think about shipping this but I am traveling to the st louis area this weekend and I'm also able to deliver it if its not to incredably far away or I will meet someone within a reasonable distince also.
well I'll try to get some pics tomorrow and I'll come down on the price some if you'll come get it but not a ton I have alot in it for what it is and what I'm asking but it is really taking up space so make me an offer once I get some pics up
Why no shipping. Since you are willing to deliver locally, why not deliver to a freight hub? It's really easy. Just strap it on a skid, wrap it in plastic & drop it off.
PM sent....................
PM not sent, your account won't accept PM's. Send me a PM, I'm interested if you'll drop her off @ local freight hub.

Dang, too bad about the "no shipping." Well, it will be a good deal for a local.
Good-luck with the sale.
well I would try to ship it I mean I have never shipped anything like this and I work till 4:30 so I would have to get off early on day so I can take it to a shipping hub, and first I would have to find a shipping hub thats close

FYI shipping terminals are usually open fairly late, if not 24hrs. Remember, there are trucks coming and going between terminals at all times of the day and night. I recommend R&L carriers, www.gorlc.com. To get a quote, go to their website and click rate quote. Engines are class 85. You must factor in pallet weight as well, so figure 350lb or so for a longblock LS on pallet. IF you are ready to ship using that quote, click 'create BOL" and fill out the shipper and consignee (receiver) information (name/addy/phone), down at the bottom enter 1, PLT, description "engine on pallet", class 85, and weight. Enter an insured value of max $5/lb at the bottom. Print 3 copies, 1 for the load, 1 for the terminal or driver, and 1 for the shipper to keep. Then all you have to do is call the terminal (given with the quote) ask for dispatch and ask when it can be dropped off or picked up.
