Default L92/LS3 block

I have a bare block from a 2008 Escalade for sale. Water got in it and rusted some cylinders. My machine shop says it will clean up at .030, I just don't have the money to have it bored and purchase pistons and rings. 21,000 miles.

$750 plus shipping or pick it up in GR, MI.

It would probably clean up at .010 pretty easily too. . .

My guy said .030 so I'm sticking to that.

So for the displacement challenged, what displacements does .030 make?

383 cubes with the stock stroke, 422 with a 4", and 433 with a 4.100" stroke. 4.100 is probably what you'd want to take it out to in order to find pistons so that's what I used in the calculations

What is shipping to 27804 buisness, or what is the weight, height and size of the pallet and will it require a lift gate truck to load, can you load it, or drop it off.

I paid $150 from AL to MI to it will be less than that. Figure $125 and if it's more I'll eat it.

Pallet will be standard 40x48 and the height is around 3ft. Weight is probably 250lbs with pallet. I have it at my business and can ship it out at any time. Today even if you want.

That's an aluminum block right?

How much extra for the L92 pistons/rods?

Block is aluminum. I'm keeping the rods and pistons.

Can these blocks take a .030 bore, safely? What IS the max bore for these LS3's? I am considering this block for one of my builds.

Some people say 4.100, some say .020 is max, some say .010. I can't find anything set in stone. TSP stocks 418 short blocks that are 4.080, so that's .015 over. I think this block would clean up at .020. The 2nd shop I took it to agreed. Maybe it would go .010, I don't know.

New price. 1st $500 gets it. Shipping included to 48 states.

I had another machine shop check it out and they said it would probably clean up at .020. I agree but I can't buy pistons so I have to let it go.
