Is the ls2 intake a bolt on upgrade for the ls1's or do i need other parts to make it compatible with the ls1's?

It would work, but it's debatable as to how much gain you get. You would need a different throttlebody and to relocate the map sensor. I think you also need to change O-rings on your injectors and adapt your fuel rail to fit. Do a search to confirm.
