I have a good full length tan, stock carpet from a LS1 firebird. Its the same as LT1 and v6 car. Maybe 3rd gens I'm not sure? I removed all the soft sound padding, and tar matting off the backside making it a lot lighter then stock. This will save you a lot of time and the PITA scrapping everything off ready to swap in. And if its too loud, you still have your stock carpet you could put back in to test it out.

the bad: I thought about doing a color change to dark gray, and with some of the duplicolor interior spray (paint) painted a little test square (4x4 IIRC) over the top of the gas tank area. to see how it matches. Was told that paint/dye sucks and rubbs/washes off easy and looks like crap in a short while. That looks to be true, if you rub over the spot some gray would come off on my hand. So with a little scudding with a brush, and some water/cleaner I htink it would wash out.

Looking to sell cheap, I saw some guys talk about removing the sound pading and remeberd I had this.
Looks dirty in the pics, been sitting in a loft for a while. Needs to be washed. best offer.

Stock sized 245/50/16 they are $263 from tirerack. There in great shape, I ran them for a few months when I had 4 before I got DRs. I'll get a pic of the tread, remember them at 75%. Great summer tire, awesome in the rain if thats possible. I was getting high/mid 1.7's, I think maybe some low 1.7s on the pair I ran on the rear. Got a 1st and 2nd place trophies of the spring and fall MOMs invite, fastest street tire car with them.

Interested in the carpet, with the exception of the painted spot, what condition is the rest of the carpet in? Is it for the whole car, I know the front area and rear trunk area are two different pieces. Also who makes the cage you have in that car, I like the way the rear bars go thru the speaker grills.

 

thats was a wolfe bolt in, you can get that way rear bars. I bought used and sold, very east intall that way, not droppping the gas tank. I liked it too so orderd it that same way when I went to a weld in 4130 wolfe 6point. But then I changed to the over the seat style bar, the wheel wells are thin and not that strong, so didnt like it for going faster with the car. I added some pics of the carpets
