Decided to part ways with my 99 Hugger Orange SS. Love the car but just no time to do anything with it between other car projects and work. Car is 1 of 375 built in this color and ONLY offered in 99. It's build number is SS #3084.

The good:

Car has the following:
LS6 w/ stock milled heads
Cometic .040 gaskets
Texas Speed 224R cam
Patriot Dual gold valve springs
ARP head bolts

Underdrive Pulley

Ported/Polished Throttle Body

T56 rebuild less than 2k miles ago by T56rebuilds (common upgrades installed), works flawlessly
B&M Ripper shifter
Spec 3+ clutch

C5 front brakes with cooling ducts (new stock pads front and rear on brakes)
Line lock
Subframe connectors (3 point weld in)
Koni Single Adjustable shocks (maybe 3k miles on them)
Strano Springs (same as shocks)
Black ZR1 wheels w/ KDW tires (older tires so probably best to replace)
Also have polished GM ZR1s but they're very curbed, I was using them for road race because of this.

The bad:

Car smokes and runs rough. Compression test shows low (15psi) compression in cyl #7. Car still runs just smokes and doesn't like to idle. I think a rings would cure the problems.

Paint on the car is peeling on the hood and spoiler. Been parked outside a while and the sun is taking it's toll on it. Also has a dent behind the passenger door (possibly fixed with dent repair but will need little paint there as well). Has expected scrapes etc for an 11 year old car.


I used this car for Texas World Speedway sessions and the car handles amazingly well. I'm just ready to move onto other things.

I'm looking to get $SOLD for the car as it sits.

I'd also entertain selling the car as a roller. For the roller I'd like $SOLD

Car has charcoal leather and in good shape. No rips/tears that I am aware of but I will double check tomorrow.

Unsure of the power this car made with that cam as it was never dyno'd. On streets I went 12.77@118. Sad about the ET but being safe on my 10 bolt I'm not TOO worried about it. Car was setup for road racing primarily more than drag. It has been run at TWS and clocked a 1:57 lap time on NT01s (those familiar with TWS can verify that time is quick )

For now I wont entertain $5,500. I have a few offers already above that.

Thanks for the pm's guy. First PM I got on it (within an hour of posting) picked up the car today. Congrats 2000nbmz on the new HOSS. I will miss it I know but just didn't have the time to dedicate to the car. I hope you enjoy it.
