some information added on the cam...

 

what are your thoughts on the cam, good or bad.

 

can you run that on stock style pistons? or do you have to fly cut

 

The only reason I am selling it is because I am building a bigger engine. Otherwise I would be using it again. The cam worked great in my combination. My engine made roughly 625fwhp with the cam. It was a pump gas 404cid with 225cc ETP heads. It had very good street manners and pulled hard to 6800 or so. I ran it with LS7 lifters.

 

The pistons in my combo had valve pockets so I can't comment on pistons that don't have it. I would always check piston to valve clearance when putting an engine together or changing the camshaft.

Here is a video of my car running down the track. It is all I really have from that set-up (my buddy owns the video camera). My car is quiet until it comes by and then you can hear it. Not my best pass but still not bad for a street car.
