Default !!SOLD!! UMI Adjustable Torque Arm & Torque Arm Relocation Kit (4L60E) !!SOLD!!

Category: Steering & Suspension
Price: $0
Part Fits: 93-02 Chevrolet Camaro, 93-02 Pontiac Firebird
Location (State): UT
Item Condition: Used
Shipping Information: Item Can be Shipped

I have a few UMI suspension parts I need to get rid of being as my new rear end package will be including these parts. Keep in mind these parts are also for sale locally, so obviously if I can save on shipping these, I'll sell to Utahns first come first serve. Best way to reach me is via PM, but I don't mind a free bump either so shoot me a PM first, and then make a simple "PM sent" reply to the thread. I'd appreciate it. Thanks for looking!

First item is a transmission mounted (LONG) adjustable torque arm. This is UMI part #2205. Absolutely nothing wrong with it. Has less than 200 miles and exactly 3 quarter mile passes. Nice piece.

On sale new for $243 and free shipping. I'm going to lose my *** on shipping so I'll start with $200 SHIPPED.

Here I have a torque arm relocation kit with bushing for 98-02 Camaros/Firebirds with the automatic 4L60E transmission. This is UMI part #2208. The only flaw with this was a minor modification I had to make to it in order to get it to fit with my true dual exhaust system. I cut a small piece out of it (seen in FIRST PICTURE below). I honestly don't think it has any sort of negative effect on the item, but I'll take a little off my asking price because of it. I know how people can be knit picky about something like this. Other than that, it's completely fine. Same useage as torque arm above; less than 200 miles, and exactly 3 quarter mile passes.

These are also on sale new for $216 and free shipping. I shouldn't lose quite as much on shipping, so I'm going to ask $175 shipped.

Steel, otherwise shipping probably wouldn't be nearly as harsh. Sorry, I'm sure you were hoping to read it was chrome moly.

Sorry. I'd have to be on a high that only people like Cheech & Chong, or Jimi Hendrix know about in order to accept that. I appreciate the offer though. Thanks.

Add another $175 on to that, and you've got a deal. I can't GIVE the stuff away, man. Depending on where you are, it'll likely be at least $40 to ship the torque arm, and another $25 or more to ship the mount. It's simple math really, $25 + $40 = $65. Your offer - $65 = $185 for me for two items worth close to $450. LOL. That's the type of math that makes NO CENTS for me at all. Sorry. Please resist the urge to lowball any further.

Just sayin buddy. these parts are no longer new. so factor in a 12% depreciation value off what a new parts cost wich was i believe like 270 and 230 for the arm and reloc kit. but your parts via your description have been installed with and ran. to me the unknowing buyer hopefully correct and ddin't tweak or bend anything in a manner that they shouldn't have been. (regardless) more comes off your lookin at like a value of less than 380 from the umi website i was just looking at. but then i'm buying on the net from someone i've never met that got huffy at me for making a offer so thats like a 1/2 off right there (sarcasm) keep your junk

cody.

LMAO! All this coming from a guy with 0 buyer feedback and 2 posts. Awesome stuff. Call UMI and ask them if they'll take your offer for both items. I'll bet they have some used ones laying around off some shop cars, see if they'll take that offer for two of their used ones. I honestly couldn't give a rat's *** what YOU think they are worth, you're not the one trying to sell them. You're also not the one paying to ship them. I can ask whatever I want to ask for my parts. I'm pretty sure most other serious sellers on here would get annoyed at someone throwing out multiple offers that barely pay for ONE of the items I'm selling... let alone both. I'm sure my "Junk" will sell, and I'm sure UMI would love to know your opinion on their products. Perhaps that is the reason for the lowball offers? Because you think their stuff is junk. I guess it makes sense now. I can raise and lower my price all I want... remember, they are still my parts. Yesterday, the prices for these parts NEW was roughly 15 dollars less than they are today. Better go bitch at the site sponsors for changing their prices so rapidly. *END RANT* Now please...

1. checked thread cause i want UMI parts...... wich makes your rant about me calling umi parts junk less than intelligent.

2. yup ask what you want for the stuff... but anyone who figures numbers like you do I would ask myself seriously if they were installed correctly since simple depreciation math is not feasable for you to coduct.

3. buyer feedback posts? sorry I don't ***** myself on ls1 tech.... love the site but I've got a life.

4. Not sure what umi charges for used stuff but if they want prices for used and installed stuff the same as new stuff.... well then they can kiss my round white butt too.

5. Multiple offers? Seriously? Your selling used stuff... it's called haggling. Welcome to the world of buying and selling.

6. anyone wants to know my reputation as a buyer, pm me and i'll give you information to my ebay account. I'm reputable all day long..

"*End Rant Respone To Mr. Knows Everything About Nothing" **

P.S. UMI is a major company prob. caring a 300% mark-up on thier products wich allows them raise and lower .... I wouldn't be suprised if it's more. I don't think UMI is junk, I just think that someone with a attitude like yours having your hands on these parts would make them junk in no time at all. Good luck with sale.

Beautiful response. Thank you for that. Are you done? I'm not the one that started all this non sense. I simply responded denying your offers. If I offended you by calling your offers "lowball" offers, then I'm sorry. However, I don't feel your offers are fair and in response I gave you an offer that I felt was fair... it doesn't mean that's the only offer I'm willing to work with. I'm not going to argue about this any further. Anywhere between $375 to $400 shipped for both items should be something for any seriously interest buyer to consider. Yes, my items are used. However, simply because I'm asking a price that may not seem fair to you doesn't mean I don't know what I'm doing when I install my parts. I appreciate you helping me to keep this ad near the top of the classifieds, but hopefully we can end this dispute now, and just let the ad run. Sorry if I offended you by not accepting your offers for my parts. That wasn't my intention.

I accept your appology.

The refusal wasn't what "pissed" me off. It was the drug related comatose suggestion or refrence you used to justify your rejection like I was a idiot.

Next just refuse, the ad-lib was additional and pointless and just got on my nerves. I'm done too gotta get stuff done.

Good Luck With Sale.

Okay, understandable. Sorry about that. I was only joking around... didn't mean to offend ya. I honestly wasn't sure if your offer was a serious one or not. Lesson learnt. Thanks for the good luck wish. Have a good one.
