Default LS2 402 boost motor..ETP heads, complete! Chicago. NEW PICTURES and Lower price!

Category: Engine - Complete Motors
Price: $7000
Part Fits: 2010+ Camaro, 93-02 Chevrolet Camaro, 93-02 Pontiac Firebird, Corvette, 04-06 Pontiac GTO, 04+ Cadillac CTS-V, 67-92 Chevrolet Camaro, 67-92 Pontiac Firebird, Front wheel drive vehicles
Location (State): IL
Item Condition: Used
Shipping Information: Item Can be Shipped
Engine: LS2/LS3/LS7/L92/LS9

Price has been lowered to $7000 ...I haven't seen any motors like this sell for this type of price anywhere. Motor was pulled out of the running car a couple of days ago. It is resting on a engine stand now, ready for someone to buy.

I would like cash for it, or maybe even trade for a clean 98+ Fbody.

Here are the specs of this motor:
LS2 aluminum block.
Callies 4" stroke forged Crank and rods.
Diamond custom pistons
Katech billet main caps, fully pinned.
ARP main studs.
ARP 2000 rod bolts.
ARP L19 head studs
ETP 245 heads, with PSI ML1225 Valve springs. Valve springs alone cost over $900.
242/248 hydraulic cam (Slowhack specked cam for centrifugal setup)
Morel lifters
Smith Brothers pushrods.

Engine has been used for less than 500 miles, which consisted of a dyno session(car put down 802rwhp and 900+ ft torque on a Mustang dyno, through a TH400 trans and very loose stall...This motor is no slouch.
It was built with nothing with the best parts so it can withstand a power adder. I used it with 18psi of boost via a Procharger, it took that without a problem.
Motor specs.
Compression is 10:1. Yes it was built as a boost motor. Nothing wrong with this compression for a boost motor as long as you use good fuel and have a good tuner.
There is not a thing wrong with it..almost aturn key motor. Any potential buyer that may be local is free to come and do a compression or leak down test if they desire before they pay.
How the motor sits right now. I will include the engine stand into the deal as well. I removed the valve covers to take pictures, then reinstalled them. I am am making sure everything is sealed so no moisture builds up inside.

Here are some pictures of how the motor sat in my car.

I have been getting lots of questions on what is and isn't included with the motor. I probably should have elaborated on that. You would be getting a motor ready to drop in. Valve covers, oil pan, oil pump and all covers are included. Items like starter, alternator etc are not included.

Anyone have a clean 98-02 Trans Am roller, or running Trans Am they want to consider trading for this, or a deal of some sort?

Sorry but not realy looking to part it out just yet..If I can't sell it as a complete motor I may have to eventually. I know I can get more money out of it by parting it out but I would rather just make it one big transaction, and not 10-15 little ones.

I have a 2002 WS6 that has just under 30k original miles clean title. No motor, tranny, seats or hood. Not sure exactly what you are looking for in a roller. I have a complete turbo kit minus the turbo that was on the car. It has a S&W race cars 6 point cage, bmr subframes. Put back together it would be a pretty nice investment but it would take some work and a some money

If someone realy wanted just the bare shortblock and was to pay for it upfront, I would have no problem taking the motor apart. But I can't take it apart unless I know 100% that the motor is sold. I have had about 10 people agree to buy the motor or blower kit, spend weeks PM'ng back and worth, talk on the phone etc, and back out last second..you know who you are lol. I even took my car apart based on the word that someone was to buy some parts and then he backed out as well..

Interested in trade for a 05 fusion 900 mint with 300 miles on brand new 06 900 motor with minor mods? Brand new track, brand new studs in it, and a bunch of other extra's. I also have 2 other sleds as well. Long shot, but thought I'd try
