I had posted these heads a while back because I was interested in getting back into dirt bikes. I had some great offers, but not THE bike that I wanted. At this point it's better to just get rid of them outright and buy what I want.

Ok here goes...

Originally these heads were on a spare LS7 that I bought for my Z06. I pulled them off and they went to TSP to be CNC'd and have new PRC Gold springs installed. They have the original GM (Del West) Titanium intake valves. I ran them for ~500 miles then pulled them to build an LSX based TT 427. Since Dec. '08 I've been working out of town, so I don't have time to mess with car stuff right now and I doubt I will anytime soon.

After my last For Sale ad I sent these heads to a local machine shop and had the stock sodium filled exhaust valves replaced with a brand new set of stainless valves from TSP. The intake valves are still the original titanium. I also had an extra set of brand new PRC Gold springs, so I had those installed as well. The heads have been resurfaced a few thousandths just to have a good flat deck.

The heads are fresh from the machine shop, still in plastic.

Do you happen to know the chamber size (cc's) after the milling?

Awesome deal with the Ti valves!

 

Good question. They were only milled a couple of thousandths to make sure they were nice and flat, not to raise compression. I haven't cc'd them, but they are pretty much stock compression.

All PM's returned and added a couple of pics (sorry for the lack of quality). Also, I have a set of ARP head studs that will go for $200 alone, or $150 with the heads.

Something worth noting, the mileage is so low on the heads that you can still see the ink Del West stamp on the valves.

 

What lift spring do they have in them and are they the 265 port or 285?

 

The springs are the .650 lift setup with titanium retainers and the ports are 265's.
