This is for a serial interface HPTuners. It has unlimited write for the following vehicles:

1998 Firebird/Camaro
2000 Firebird/Camaro
1999 Corvette

It works just fine. Comes with username/password so that you have access to the HPTuners tune repository, and burned CD of the software (don't have the original anymore.)

Might be interested. Do they allow free software upgrades? I see it lists v1.0 and I think they are up to 2.2?

 

I know they has some deal when getting rid of the serial cable you had to upgrade to a usb in which now you have to pay full price for another kit. If you search on here I believe it is on here.

 

Yeah, they don't offer a trade in program for the serial anymore, just a discount is all.

Yes this will work with V2.2. You just wont have the newer features (Real time tuning is the biggest I think, and credits. Not that you need credits since this covers types and years of cars.)

 

So you can't get any more credits for the older serial cable type any longer?
