i believe its glasstek and the hood lists for $460 on their site plus shipping. I also know you can get a vfn 4 inch cowl for $425 plus shipping which was around $130 so thats still less than what you are asking for a new hood. Any chance you are willing to lower the price, reason i am asking is b/c a friend of mine is interested in it who isnt on here not trying to bash your price.

low balling? go to glassteks site and look up the price of the hood yourself or even vfn's site. You can get a 10% discount for all tech members from vfn and theres a $20 crating fee plus freight charges. He explained the reason for the upper cost which was a very well done paint job. Alot of times people have to repaint a fiberglass hood when they get them scratches, rock chips etc. If the hood needed to be repainted it wouldn't be worth the asking price, so go cry somewhere else. I had a legitimate question and he answered it, bump for an honest seller.

I looked at the price at glasstech and $460 is a nice hood that is primer black and will still need body work and sanded and then later painted and say if it cost $140 that $600.00!!!! Plus it will only cost you $600.00 for this hood and its Shipped at that price!!!!

A legitimate question would be asking a question and not quoting someone prices!!

I came off a little strong and sorry for that but I hate people who quote prices and then complain about a price on a part. $600 is a great price for this nice hood!!!!

Sorry Dan for ranting on your sales page.

its cool man, i will be done hijacking after this post. My intentions were not to quote a price then complain in fact i wasnt complaining at all. In general unless someone is very paticular about there car, there will be rock chips and scratches on a hood which would need a repaint anyway to be in perfect condition and no two cars paint is the same so it should be painted and blended in with the fenders and bumper cover if wanting it done properly. This guy seemed very honest and looks like he takes care of his stuff, thats all i wanted to know.

Actually, the bolt-on hood is worth over 600 new. Looks like that's the one you have. I'm looking for a 4 inch cowl hood and do have my stock hood still. Can you get me a better side shot of the cowl hood. I want to see if this is the same hood I'm wanting to get. Thanks.

Let me get back to you in a couple days. Gonna see if I can run this and what it'll cost for the painting since my car is maroon.
