This engine is out of an 02 Trans Am WS6. I had it blasted, and checked. I put in Mahle forged -4cc pistons with pressed pins. I also installed Clevite H series bearings on the rods, mains and cam journals. I had the stock rods checked at the machine shop, and they are in great shape(37,543 miles on them). I installed ARP rod bolts in the rods. The crank is stock. It has ben checked, and polished. The rods, cam and main journals are still standard. I also have the 241 heads for this motor, which I have started porting. They haven't had much removed, so they are still capable of many different porting options. I also have the oil pan, water pump(37K miles on it), and various other internal parts. Let me know what you want, and make me an offer. is this shortblock still available? has it been run since all the new parts were installed? What ARP rod bolts were used? Why did you not just do rods too along with it?
