*SOLD*

I have for sale a brand new shift boot that will fit your 97-02 FBody. I will ship this boot for $10 anywhere in the US.

Here are some pics of boot installed:

The condition of the boot is perfect except for some of the stitching near the shift **** closeout. Since the boot is turned in near the **** this is not seen after it has been installed.

Note: This boot does not include the shift boot plastic retainer ring. The ring from the original boot needs to be reused. It is common for the ring to break but you can still use it by gluing the corner/area where it is broken directly to the console to hold boot in place in that area. If the plastic retainer cannot be repaired a member on the forum (farmerto) is selling steel retainer rings on ebay that are much more durable.

To install the boot I used a cable tie to closeout the boot at the ****. Here's some pics that help illustrate:

I got it off ebay and it did not mention the material that was used but it looks really nice. It has a darker and softer feel to it than the stock shift boot.
