So GM is covering the warranty on the powertrain even though its modded?

 

I take it you are't very familiar with the whole law behind warranty work?

For example - if my window stops working and the car is covered under a warranty they can't say the cam was the reason for the window not working. If my rear end goes, they could refuse to do the work under warranty. Its dealer-by-dealer. I had a H/C CTS-V and they replaced the rear 3 times.

 

I am very familar, I worked for GM a little bit. I'm not worried about the rear end, I'm just hoping if you sell this to someone else and they think the engine is covered, well....

 

Good point! I answer everything honestly and to the point. I'd hope if someone were to buy a car this modded they'd already have been in the game a time or two. Can't believe someone hasn't snatched this up to put their wife in

Damn I wish I would of already sold my Jeep Liberty and my G6. This is exactly what I want but I can't float the payment on all 3.

Was any type of shift kit or trans programming done after the stall , H/C/E ? to keep the tranny shifting correctly?

Does it have CATS on it?

Dallas TX does visual as well as the computer hook up and sniffer

 

The tranny shifts just fine..but I'm sure it was tweaked to adjust for the higher stall. All components were added at the same time and tuned in Orlando.

The car does have high flow cats on it. No OBD codes.

 

Any thoughts on what this might be worth?
