Custom Fuel Rail Covers for Trans Am's made by Parbreak.
These are used, but only for about 600 miles and have been taken on and off several times for cleaning with no problems. I had these custom made for me about 3 years ago for car shows when they became the "new rage" at that time. As you can see in the pics, a lot of time and effort was put into these by Bryan (Parbreak) and my wallet can surely verify that!!! I had him fill in the corvette lettering, then sanded and smoothed, painted black to match the car with a shot of clear over that. He then took actual Trans Am raised emblems (off the door, from GM) and put chrome vinyl over them, made a custom bird decal in the same color and then put decals over the stripes and 5.7 emblem with the text Ram Air. Very time consuming as it took him over a month to make these for me and this is when he just started doing these for people. When I got them, I slapped a coat of wax on them as a temp. barrier for dirt and applied 2 rolls of heat tape on the underside to take an extra precaution with my headers. Anyways, as you can see in the pics, all the clips are still attached and the heat tape is still secured to the underside. There is two sections where the paint is coming off (oil cap and bottom of the cover where it mets the air system...see pic) and the vinyl is just starting to peel up on the Trans Am lettering but it is not noticable once installed. I know you can get these now for less but they will look nothing like mine, or should I say yours??

I paid well over $400 for these to be custom made 2 years ago..breakdown as follows:
$245 for the covers (new from GM), shipping, and for them to be sanded and smoothed
$35 painted to match the car with clear
$55 for vinyl on the stripes, TA emblems, Ram Air and the Custom Bird
$90 for the Actual door emblems (new from GM)
$40 for two rolls of heat tape
[B]Total cost- $465

And YES, Im well aware you can buy these covers from a popular website, but add in the options that they offer inwhich my covers already have, the raised Trans Am emblems and shipping, and I feel my price is very reasonable. And afterall, it is best offer!!! (that means YOU offer me a price, not you asking what I'll take for them)

Listen bro, Im not over reacting at all. If you thought things were overpriced, then you should keep your comments to yourself. This part of the forum is to sell things, not give your opinion- theres plently of threads for that.

Also, if you clearly re-read the thread and exactly what it says, you would understand that you were bashing the thread with your comment then stating how your car is 10x better and laughing at my prices. Its not my fault you took insult to me simply stating that your car isnt a show car. I dont even know what your car looks like, nor have you seen mine, so what. The point is most people who own show cars spend $ on appearance, thats what I have done and Im trying to recoupe some $. Then you said they were overpriced, guady and over done.
