Considering selling my 98 trans am with 128k miles. it has been my daily driver for a little over 3 months now with absolutely zero problems. I have driven it From dallas to lubbock and back twice (700 mile round trip each time cruise set at 80mph) and it is a perfect daily driver.

Pros:
Rebuilt 4L60E in febuary 2010. Still have receipts, trans has around 4k miles on it now
new waterpump, replaced earlier this year
New brake pads
Brand new Tint
New inspection and registration stickers
Air and rear 02 deleted. car is ready for a set of headers
85mm G2 lid with slp 85mm MAF
nice looking catback exhaust
6.5 inch subwoofers in the sail panels
Leather interior is in good shape, side bolsters all work
carpet is in great shape
door panels are in perfect shape

Cons:
The car has a Rebuilt Title. (carfax in post #3) It was in an accident in virginia where it slid into another car in an ice storm and sustained passengers rear quarter panel damage. Everything has been repaired, however you can still see remnants of that damage in crinkles in the trunk area. The bodywork is "ok" at best on that panel, however i have never had anyone notice any damage unless i have first pointed out . the paint on the bottom corner of the rear bumper has chipped off, so there is about a 4inch square of black at the bottom of the passengers side bumper

The car has 25psi warm oil pressure. the oil pressure increases with Rpm and is perfectly normal other than the low reading. ive searched and it is a common issue and doesnt show any issues or forewarn any problems as long as the oil pressure increases 10psi for ever 1000 rpms. the motor runs great and trans shifts perfect

The rear sway bar bushing is cracked and needs to be replaced. The car makes a pop noise when you go over bumps.

the window switch on the drivers door is missing a tab so the switch panel is loose. you can glue it down its just never bothered me that much

The window motors work fine, however the windows rattle a bit. the drivers side is a little off track but works fine

That all being said the car is in Great shape besides a severely cracked dash pad.

I have had the car out to meets and to be honest its cleaner than most fbodys out there.

There was uncovered metal which i coated with some primer after i bought the car. the picture is to show the dents there in the back side of the quarter panel




the car shines up nicely. its the dark shade of nbm that came in early 98. the car has a build date of jan 98

yes the a/c works. the previous owner replaced the compressor last year. When he refilled the system he didnt drain the oxygen out so it takes about 5 minutes to get cold but it kept me cool this summer even before i had tint on it.

It has a cassette player but ill toss in the aux adapter tape the stereo sounds really good and i use my mp3 player with it. The stereo sounds really good for all stock the buttons on the steering wheel all work great
Keys match with the t-tops
still has the rear hatch divider.
the seat belt holders on the seats are all original and uncracked

The car is complete.


sorry man not in any rush to sell, suprisingly im at a point in my life where i can own 3 cars at once without needing to ship one out hmm maybe if you want to have my camaro seats in the ta . The trans am interior is in better shape than my camaro's

just put a full tank of gas and a coat of wax on it today! oh i changed the oil a couple of weeks ago too
