Synthetic Oil Life Study
Though you guys may like to see this article. http://neptune.spacebears.com/cars/s.../oil-life.html
It's a group of guys doing some independent oil tests on a Firebird. Interesting reading if nothing else.

I have always run Amsoil every 7500 miles (47,500 now) so it will be interesting to see if my $$$ has been well spent. Side note: I just had my car partly tore down for a cam shaft, valvetrain upgrade and everything looked near perfect.

Looks like my Mobil 1 interval will be changing...
Ugh, to think of all the money I've wasted changing at 3,000... eh, I'm too insecure - I'm not goin any higher than 5,000.
