Default Sold

SOLD

I am selling my Fikse's so that I can go a different direction with the car and to do some home upgrades, I just put $600 into them having the inner and outer hoops repolished and trued, I also bought a replacement rear outer hoop for one wheel because there was a slight bend in the hoop, The hoop cost right at $350 by the time it was delivered.

Pictures of the wheel repair on pages 2 through 3.

I also got new o-rings for the center caps and a set of new bolts for the rear hoop.

I also have chrome lug nuts and McGaurd wheel locks to go with the wheels.

There is a very close up pic with two little black nicks, that is the only flaw I can see on the wheels.

I do not have tires for the wheels.

The first two pictures are from my friend at the wheel repair shop, he sent me these pics of the wheels when he was finished. Again, all 4 wheels were sent to him to be trued and polished.

Asking $2200 Negotiable, Reasonable offers considered.

Thanks,

Jarod.

This hoop is no longer on the wheel but I took a pic so you could see how minor it was before the new hoop. My finger is directly over the bend, you cannot see it in the pic or by eye without me pointing it out, but when it was rolling down the road you could notice it a little in the light reflection, and anything less than perfect with these wheels was not acceptable.

Well just live on Ramon noodles for a month or two, just look at the Fikse's on the car while eating them and they will be much easier to choke down haha.

FYI guys, I checked shipping and its not as bad as I thought, I would be willing to cover it if the right price is offered for the wheels.

However if I get the used tires I was talking about, they would cost quite a bit to ship because of their weight in comparison to the wheels so I wouldn't be able to cover the cost on those. At this time it's not looking like I am going to get them anyway...

How do these wheels compare in weight to a 17" zr1 or mangesium c5 wheel? I currently have a set of 17"F 18"R C5 Maggies im on the fence about. Also did you have to clearence for the rear wheels? Your pics are awesome since my camaro is the same color as yours.

They are somewhere around 10 pounds or so lighter than a ZR1 wheel, I do not know anything about how much the vette magnesium wheel weighs so I can't say what the difference would be there. As far as clearance. With any 11" rear wheel you need to beat in the forward part of the inner fender well ( right in front of where the rear end is ) it is a good idea to roll the outer fender lip too. I borrowed a friends fender roller and heat gun for $20.

Okay cool. A good way I got my GF to look at it when I bought them was you can get so much out of them when you re-sell them. If you buy them and re-sell them you can get all your money back when you do. Send me a PM with an offer, im open to negotiating.

From the wheel face to the outer edge right?

The pic of the wheel hoop in the box is a rear outer hoop, it is around 3+ inches. I will have to measure when I get home to answer more accurately.

I put new pics up in the first post, the wheels look much better in those pics and show what they truly look like out in the sun..
