Default Track Results, 1st time with new goat

I made it to the track Wednesday night for the first time since I got the GTO. It is still basically stock except for a K&N panel filter and some minor TM adjustments (raised shift points, rev limiter etc.)

She ran three 13.6's each at 102.something. I was pretty pleased but I can't wait to get the torque converter installed. Headers, cam, and possibly heads are on my list then we'll see what she can do.

BTW, in run number one, I beat a Mach 1 (stock) by about the same margin as in the magazine story, one 10th or so. I'll look for some cobras after the other work is done!

No, I had a GTP. I got it up to around 320 Fwhp and ran a 13.2 at 105. Of course my first goal is to get the GTO faster than that.

It's sad/funny that I'll be able to that with only a few mods compared to the long list and associated costs I had to do to the GTP to achieve that time.

Excellent runs. Why haven't we heard from the M6 owners. Looks like they'll be running low 13s easy stock. Looks like it's gonna be faster than people thought.

Yeah, most likely a 3200.

They weigh about 3725 lbs. and yes they make an M6 version. I had to take what the dealership had and I like the A4 for day to day driving better anyway, traffic sucks in Orlando.

I drove an M6 one yesterday (see other thread), it definitely felt like a mid-13 car. I was impressed.

Nice!

I'd put the shift points at 6000/6100 with stock valve springs and a new converter.

I'm curious. I've gotten on my car just a couple of times thus far and each time I recieve a loud clunk from the rear of the car during the 1:2 shift. Do you have anything similar on your car?

That's pretty good times especially for the auto.

When I first ran my Mach1 at Reynolds last September I was shocked at the results.
