Yes, it is complete. I do not have the original software CD that contains the drivers and actual HPTuners program, but most people download that right from the Hptuners website, since newer versions of it are out there.

Just letting you know............. A new complete interface is $649 on the HPT website. It comes with 8 credits which is $400 bucks.

So brand new, never used this interface without credits only costs $249 from HPT.

This is not a flame so please don't take it as such. I bought mine supposedly unused. Found out on the first car that even though they never edited the tune they did license the car they read out with it. In actuality I gave $700.00 for a $649 dollar tool.

Yeah, but everyone knows you can't just buy an interface from HPT. So your point is moot.

This deal is perfect for anyone that wants to just tune 1 car.

$425 to me + $100 to HPtuners for enough credits to tune their car = $525.00

If you buy from HPT, you need to pay $675

SO... since were working in math here....

The average person who just wants to tune 1 car would save $150.00 by buying mine, over buying a new one from HPtuners.

Like I said "not a flame", and if you only ever tune one VIN it's a great deal.

When you pay HPTuners $650 for a new version of this, you are either getting a steep discounted rate on those 8 credits, or they are being included for free.

You are not getting the interface, software license and cables for $249 from HPtuners. The real value is much higher than that. It's pretty clear from the fact that they do not offer a "credit free" or "credit reduced" option when you buy this thing.

I understand your logic, I just don't agree with it and that's OK!

And besides all that, I still think it's a solid deal for someone who doesn't want to invest $650 up-front to get started tuning their vehicle... I also realize that the person who plans up front to tune 4 vehicles with it is much better off buying new.

But since my thread is bumped again, I'll take this opportunity to offer the unit shipped to your door in the continental US (including the paypal fees) for $415.

When I recieve payment, I will change my customer log-in information so you can log-in as the new owner and change all your information. You will get all this information from me in a detailed email message, and as an added bonus, I will even throw in a CD with the drivers and the most recent version of the software (heck, even the 2.23 Beta version if you want it)

I feel honored that in the 6 years you've been a member here, 4 out of your 20 total postings have been in my thread.

Even an OK st. grad can see that you still save if you're planning on doing 2 cars
