Well, I had to buy a long section of M16 threaded rod to be able to make a tool to put my harmonic balancer on, and since I had a lot extra, I went to fastenal and got 4 add'l nuts and washers and have four complete tools to sell. Yes you can probably build it yourself cheaper--if you don't value your time and gas money to round all this up yourself. But if you want it shipped to your door at a reasonable price, buy this little kit and it will work.

What's included: 1) an ~ 7" piece of M16 threaded rod that has been smoothed on both ends and threads easily into the crank (I checked all of these on my crank before I put in my new TTY crank bolt--I know they all work fine), 2) one washer/nut from fastenal for the threaded rod, and 3) a 15/16 deep socket that works with the nut and your TTY bolt.

Yes I know allegedly its a 24mm bolt--but 15/16 fits better (tighter, but still slips on easily) for both the nut and the TTY bolt. Since Lowes was closing out their USA made sockets for cheap prices, I was able to pick up the 15/16 sockets reasonable and pass on to you since most folks don't have that particular socket in a deep size (believe its made by Danahar who also makes craftsman sockets).

The only thing you might need additionally is maybe another washer. When I put mine on I had the rental tool (that otherwise wouldn't work w/our balancers) that had a spacer that was maybe 1/2 in thick, and I used that spacer. Mine took quite a bit of force to torque on, so perhaps it could take another washer--I just don't know, and yours may slip on easier. The washer I bought is really thick and should be plenty strong enough--but there is the possibility you may need another.

I only have 4 and won't be making any more (just using up the extra threaded rod), so PM if interested and I'll send you my paypal address. It will go thru USPS to your door.

Yes its $25 shipped and I'll do paypal fees...this isn't a money making venture, but its not a freebie either.

This is a awesome cheap tool... ive never actually used a tool, I just heat the hub with a small propane torch and the pulley literally falls on the crank.
but for someone afraid to put heat to it this is great! its hard to find these parts locally... I TRIED... then thats when the torch came out

25 bucks is small price to pay rather then to TRY and gather this stuff up... There are no kits you can rent to install the pulley, only pull it off.
