Default my new motor

Hoping to get some stout NA numbers with this. 93 Formula, M6, 12 bolt, street twin, etc...

Motor is a 410ci LT1, solid roller, jesel shaftmounts, ProAction 23* heads (converted for reverse flow cooling), cam motions 261/272 .68x lift 112 LS, 95mm TB, EFI converted super victor intake.

Hoping for low 10s and 135+mph trap speeds on motor. The intake is drilled and tapped for a fogger, so I may hook up the hose too.

That's a BADASS lookin motor . Should run great! But one question, if you are going with SBC heads that have to be converted to reverse flow, why not the 15* SBC heads. There is way more power in those than a set of 23* heads.

Just curious.

You can run off the shelf Hedman headers on this motor, and I'm pretty sure Jason got a nice deal on these heads "already converted." I'll let him answer with his own reasoning tho .

Looking sick dude...should have gone with the cc306 cam tho .

LOL, thanks guys

Yeah, as Ryan mentioned....I went with the ProAction 23* heads for a few reasons. First, it allows me to run then 1 7/8" Hedman longtubes and not a custom header. The resources around here for a custom (quality) header is slim. Secondly, these heads and intake were available immediately (already converted and ported) and for a great price. Other than those two things, I would have totally gone with the GM 615 15* heads.

Hopefully I will have the car running with the new motor in about a month. Gotta graduate college first....finally!

Darren Harden (Harden motorsports) built the motor for me and I have nothing but the best things to say about him as a person and also the quaility of his work.

that cam he has is more radical than the cc306. cc306 is 230/244 his is way more radical.

Well, although I am in college I also work basically full-time. That is why it has taken me 7 years to get a 4 year degree. It would be another story if I was not working (read: couldnt afford this thing)

As far as money....probably not as much as people think. Most of this motor was paid for by selling my last 396. I did some side work for a shop to get that 396 shortblock, so really its just work and not so much out of pocket money. I probably have $5k out of pocket in this motor....but ALOT of time and work.

The motor will be going in the car in about a month. I will keep everyone posted with dyno and track numbers.

Thats why I dont work, it sucks having a stock car but I know if I worked I would never finish school because all I would want to do is mod the car. I'm bad enough with it when i do work, most I can see my car ever amounting to in the next 3 years is maybe a bolt on and gas car.
