Default Few questions about the STS turbo kit

I have the corsa exhaust on my car now and i've been told it has to come off. Now i dont mind that but will it be possible to keep the quad exhaust tips on both sides? a WS6 looks really stupid with just a exhaust tip coming out of one side and the corsa tips are soo much nicer than stock. Also is it possible to put any type of blow off valve with this kit? Or am i just better off getting a turbtech street kit with a 60-1Turbo? i have about $5500 to spend on everything.

The Corsa will have to come off....

You can custom make a pipe to fill the other hole and just weld your corsa tips onto it so it looks nice still.

If I sell my house I may put an STS kit on my T/A also and have to remove my Corsa. I'll just make a pipe for mine like I mentioned above.

You can also get a BOV.

you can do the STS kit, bov, get your tips set up like you want and still have plenty left over for something else. Do I hear FMIC. Even after that you will still be under.

So basically i can have both exhaust tips but one will be a dummy? I can deal with that.

do you have any pics?

TTP has a special runnning. $5,400 for STS turbo kit with T-60 turbo
Blow off valve
Manual 0-8lb controller
42lb injectors
full installation and tune

that sounds like a complete package. Does that sound like a good deal? But my father is a mechanic so he can do it for free. What about the turbotechnology street kit? that seems like a nice kit too. Any comments on that?

The exhaust is quiet if you have the cats on. My exhaust is all stock and mine is just a little louder than stock.

Under normal driving, nothing comes out of the wastegate. If you are on it hard, the wastegate is loud. You could run a pipe into the exhaust w/o too much trouble. You would need to find someone who can do some nice welds, not the gorilla type.

The STS kit is barely louder than stock. I've had mine since July and I think its great. We fabbed up a pipe from the wasregate outlet and increased the pip[e size and duplicated the wxhaust tip. Looks like true duals, but only expels air from the wastegate.

Jeepo, that is a cool idea. People could have the dual tips and its functional too.

I'd post a picture but I'm computer illiterate.

Exactly what I am doing too Jeepoo. You beat me too it!

Cept my "tips" are supertrapp mufflers.

No loud *** wastegate for me. I think it sounds horrible. I am hoping for virtually zero noise out of my wastegate since it will be muffled.

Can you email me a pic of how you did it. I have a good idea how I am going to do mine but always like to see if somebody has a better idea

If im reading this right i can weld a pipe to my wastegate and have it come out of one side of my rear bumper like an exhaust? Thats a cool idea! I might do that. With my current setup(check sig) and i add a sts turbo and run at around 7-8psi, how much horse will i throw down? Also can i use any type of BOV with the STS? The one that is on the sts website is way to quiet for me! I want a real BOV, like an apexi. Thanks
