Default Ported Throttle Body Pics

Since everyone has been porting their tb i decided to give it a try. Since I dont know anything about it i just wanted to post pics of it before i start polishing it.

Just tell me what I done wrong or what I can do to make it better.

Can someone give me a link to a write up?

Still looks like you have some material you can take away @ the lip, in front of where the blade seals. You can blend that in the same angle as the rest of the throttle body to give it a more direct route for airflow. Catch me on aim, we'll discuss it some more

You can also get rid of the front half of that shaft. It'll increase flow capacity a good bit. Just disassemble the unit and chop off the front half with a Dremel/cutoff wheel or an angle grinder. 5-10min job tops-proven results.

you can fill in those two holes with some epoxy, smoothen it out and then drill two 1/4" holes....that will be a major improvement

Default Ported MAF

Does porting the MAF affect gas mileage in a negative way?

There are hundreds of people on this site who are going to disagree with that statement as it all depends on the car it's going in, the intended mods/goal of the car, and the tuner's abilities. Most competent tuners are more than capable of tuning to compensate for larger MAFs or ported MAFs.
