2000 SS vs 1st Gen Talon Right Click, Save As
Video is pretty self explanatory.. if its too dark try to adjust the brightness and contrast on your video player.
Comments and suggestions always welcome. Talon claims 300 whp+ It is actually more like 320-330.

It had to be of the FWD flavor to want to run like that. You've got yourself a respectable running Camaro as FWD turbo DSM's are nothing to sneeze at from a roll. Good runs.

Yea.. it was FWD. He first wanted to do a 100 roll.. dead serious. He hung better from 70 but ****.. my camaro is like pushing a brick wall through the air with sandbags attached compared to that feather on wheels. Oh well. Still beat him.

the dsm is still in the 2850lbs range...they arent THAT light.

Video turned out pretty good. But lets get a few things corrected here. I never ran more than 20 psi on any of those races. When we returned to the parking lot, I asked if you wanted to race again if I turned the boost up and YOU did not want to. And what's the 100MPH roll seriously? I said 65-70. The first race I spun through 2nd, half of 3rd and missed fourth. FWD sucks and I hate it. Still lost no excuses. The second race was not exactly an *** whooping. You pulled slightly more than a car when it was over. Still, your car is faster than mine on 20psi. I'm not trying to start a war here, but don't go around posting stuff that didn't happen. Your car is very quick and I respect all LS1's, they are fast period. The turbo I have on my car runs most efficiently from 23-25 psi, you would be very surprised what those few extra psi would do. Why do you think I wanted to go again? If I can make it out there this Sunday I would love to run again and get it video taped. I'm just in this to have a good time and get some good races. Oh yeah, It's a Plymouth Laser BTW.

Ok not trying to instigate, 112Cl if you Spun through 2, 3rd, at 20psi, do you really think 23-25 is goin gto help any from a dig? But also in your favor, from a roll you might have a chance. I just dont seeing a win in your favor......Sorry.....BTW you got a quick Laser.

Sorry dude, between everyone I talked too that night and all teh confusion, I thought the second race you DID crank it to 23,beacuse of you mentioning it.
You did say 100.. dead serious when I walked up to you after you kicked the neons ***.
I am not running your **** from a 100mph roll, or a 70mph roll again. I do not own a Supra. I have a 4.11 geared SS and if you listen in that video while you were in your prime powerband at 70 I was a little low in third gear, yet I still came by you once I hit 4th.
Crank up your PSI, throw some drag radials on it, and we'll go from a dig. And you'll get walked. It does you no good to have a car that spins first second and third and fourth, thats useless. You aren't going to really talk many people into running you from 70 anyway man. Hate to burst your bubble but Pushing it to the floor in 70, and shifting once isn't my idea of a drag race. Hear the shifting in the video on my part? I hit third and spun the hell out of it with drag radials, now get you some tires. Learn to drive because I think that has more to do with it then anything.
