Default Good books or articles on head porting???

Are there any good books or articles about head porting? I'm real curious about the logic of porting, especially in the bowl areas and properly matching the valve sizes.
Thanks.

Do a Google search on David Vizard. He has written quite a bit on the topic of cylinder head preparation.

Default Head porting

Vizard's book "How to Build and Modify Chevrolet Small Block V-8 Cylinder Heads" would be a good starting point.

I would highly recommend you go to the SAE Bookstore: http://store.sae.org/

and search their books and publications. I have most of their high performance texts. Check out PT-53 "Design of Racing and High Performance Engines" which contains several really good papers on air flow. Then check out the "Motorsports Engineering Conference Proceedings" related to engines and drivetrains. These are put out every two years (1994, 1996, 1998, etc.). These volumes contain a wealth of info on various race engine topics including cylinder head design and modification.
