94 to 98 or Newer Conversion?
I have a stupid question -
Can the front end of a 1994 TA or Camaro be converted to 1998 or newer? Will the fenders, hood and bumper bolt right on? I I am looking to build a drag-only car and think it would be much more cost effective to start with the older body and convert the fron end.
Any advice would help.

Anyone parting out 98-02 Firebird Trans Am?
I have a 1996 Trans Am and I`m going to convert it to 98+ WS6 ram air. SO I need some parts. Headlight assembly right and left, fenders, front bumper(trans am), hood hinges, front bumper absorber, and a ram air hood.
So if anyone is parting out or has a wrecked 98-02 Firebird or Trans Am Hit me up! I need your parts and if you know of any other parts I need for this proceedure please let me know.

hey i am also intrsested in this too, what all need to be changed in order to make it pretty much identical to a 98+? i didnt realize the rear bumper was diffrent. also evertyhing bolts right up: hood fenders bumer lights, in place of the factory ones? im looking at a wrecked firehawk and instead of fixing it back to stock i would liek to do the conversion.

98+WS6 Ram Air Conversion

i plan on doing this to my 97 this month, ive researched all the parts you need in order to get the conversion to work properly, here is a list for everything to get on a camaro, also, 2000.00 for the conversion seems a bit high, id check ebay for all the parts, but then again some of these parts may or may not be hard to find.
heres what you need
"Hood (Id opt for a custom hood since you're at it)
Fenders
Nose
Under nose plastice paneling
Impact bumper (foam piece that sits behind the nose)
Headlights
Headlight brackets
Header panel (piece that goes around the hood latch and holds the nose to the frame)
Foglamp brackets \
Foglamps / these of course are optional
Lower fender brakets
Upper Fender shims (otherwise the front of the fenders sit too far away from the hood)
Despite what many say - it's not necissessary to change the intake to an LS-1 style lid. The Lt-1 style off to the right works fine if not better since if you have a CAI the fog lamp opening on the newer nose tends to work like a ram air. Just somethign to think about.
The conversion is almost a straight bolt up but be pacient. The adjustment to make it look just right takes time. Those headlights are a *****. It's going to take a lot of bolting down, checking, unbolting, adjust, bolt down to make it look just right. I still haven't got everything just right. So good luck but i think it's worth it."

The ls1 intake would work better as its a straight shot....
Not a waste of time, its very, very awsome, besides, I like my lt1. This mod will give you uddles of experiance, and be funn for you and a few buddies to tackle..

Thats damn true, when it was all said and done, our 95 conversion ta racked up 6250 big ones.. and that was only 2500 shy of a 99/00 ta with decent mileage.. even so, like 02 says it was a waste of time and more of a waste of money when the real deal would cost around that...

I only paid $2300 for my 1996 LT1 TA that I plan to do the conversion to. So, I`m really better off doing the conversion for $2000. I`ll only have $4300 give or take a few bucks in the TA. Don`t think I could find a LS1 for $4300 do you?

i doubt a 96 T/A for only 2,300 is worth a damn either..........
I don't understand people with these conversions. Save your pennies and get a low mileage 98+ LS1, you'll be happy you did.

It is worth a damn, and she runs strong. No tranny slipage either. Got it cheap from a guy that just needed the money because he was in trouble with the law. Sorry if you don`t understand us do-it-yourselfers. We can have bad *** rides for almost half of what a good LS1 costs. If I was a rich boy I`d go right out and buy a 98 TA. That would be easier yes, but also not as fun. I do like your rims Silver02TA.
