I am curious as to what it came stock on... Are you sure the 12569241 is a 2-bar?

12580698 is the stock sensor for an 04 saturn ION redline which is a two bar sensor. I got mine today so we'll see how it works. It cost me 40.00 from the dealer.

It's actually the BARO sensor for the redline and the 05 cobalt. Correct part number though. 2 BAR, same physical package at the stock 1 BAR sensor.

The MAP sensor on the ION/cobalt is 2.5 BAR w/ built it temp sensor. The packaging and connector is different however.

The 12580698 sensor I received today for a customers car was close to the stock sensor but did require some dremel modification to make it fit in the stock location on the LS6 intake manifold. The one side had to be ground flat in order to make it fit

Does this sensor look the same as the std 1 bar sensor but with a extra lug on the side.

Has anyone used it yet and how was it calibration wise compard to the older style 2 bar sensor ?
